What Happens During the One-Hour Swimming Lesson?

We don't believe young children should spend an entire hour doing structured swimming exercises. Our sessions are designed to combine learning, confidence-building and fun.

15 Minutes – Getting to Know Your Child

We start by getting to know your child and helping them feel comfortable with the instructor before getting into the pool.

This gives the instructor an opportunity to understand your child's confidence, experience and individual needs.

30 Minutes – Playful Swimming Lesson

The main lesson uses fun, playful and age-appropriate swimming activities to help your child develop water confidence and swimming skills.

The session is adapted to your child's individual ability and experience in the water.

15 Minutes – Fun & Wind Down

We finish with some relaxed fun in the pool and a gentle wind-down.

If your child becomes tired before the full hour is finished, that's absolutely fine. Young children can tire quickly in the water, so their comfort and enjoyment are always important.
